Pixelmetrix Danny Wilson to shed light on Over-the-Top (OTT) Video QoE/QoS Performance Metrics & the Basics of OTT Video at three major Broadcast Conferences

Singapore, February 7, 2012 – Within these two weeks, Danny Wilson, Pixelmetrix President and CEO, will be present at three conferences: CSTB Russia on February 8, BES India on February 12 and BVE UK on February 15. During his presentation at CSTB and BVE, he will shed light on the key QoE/QoS Performance Meterics for Over-the-Top (OTT) Video, while at BES, he will discuss the Basics of OTT Video for Broadcast Engineers.

Following the recent publication of Wilson's OTT white paper, he will demystify the difference between IPTV and OTT. Delegates can gain a better understanding of the way OTT works and the new set of challenges it entails.  He will expand on the primary driver of TV quality, the adoption of OTT transmission, and share some insights on LTE as well.

Wilson frequently speaks at telecommunication industry-focused conferences as well as educational conventions worldwide.  He is currently a member of the IPTV workgroup in Singapore, and was the Editor for the Performance Monitoring/Quality of Service workgroup of the ITU-T/IPTV-FG.
